Gari network crosses historic milestone of 2 million token holders

Gari, a social token now has over two million token holders in just 11 months of its integration into Chingari, a short Web 3.0 video application with over 170 million downloads.

The massive jump propelled the Gari token to the second largest Blockchain Solana project in terms of the number of token holders. It should be noted that 100,000 new token holders have been added to the Gari network in the last 10 days alone.

Under the Gari mining program, users and creators are rewarded with Gari tokens for viewing, commenting and uploading videos on Chingari’s app. Gari is the native encryption token of Chingari.

Since its launch in February 2022, the Gari crypto token has gained great support from the community. It attracted 600,000 token holders within the first three months of launch. As of July 2022, 700,000 users have signed up for the Gari Wallet. One million token holders were recorded on August 2, 2022, as the number of token holders continued its upward trend, and now it has surpassed the two million mark.

“The milestone of two million users is a testament to the continued adoption of the Chingari app among new users. With the launch of our initiatives such as the Non-Fungible Video Token (NFT) Marketplace, Subscription Plans, Audio Rooms and Gari Mining, users now have access to a wide range of options to monetize their content,” said Sumit Ghosh, CEO and Co-Founder, Chingari.

“We are passionate about enabling users and creators to benefit from the new tokenized economy, and Gari is central to our efforts. We look forward to the next phase of growth as we plan to onboard the first billion of crypto users on the Chingari platform,” he adds.
